Life Gets Heavy. Healing is Possible.
This is just a brief list of the common conditions that I treat. If there is something else going on in your life that doesn't fit this list, please feel free to contact me to discuss the journey you would like to take. I see clients virtually at my office in North Attleboro MA, and virtually throughout the state.

Depression
Depression can affect much more than your mood. It can leave you feeling exhausted, disconnected, unmotivated, or overwhelmed, making even everyday tasks feel difficult. You may find yourself withdrawing from the people and activities you once enjoyed or struggling with feelings of sadness, hopelessness, guilt, or low self-worth.
Therapy can provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space to understand what you're experiencing and begin to feel more like yourself again. Together, we can explore the thoughts, feelings, and experiences that may be contributing to depression and develop practical ways to cope and create positive change. I use a compassionate, client-centered approach while always tailoring treatment to your individual needs and goals.

Anxiety
Anxiety can make it difficult to slow down and enjoy your life. You may find yourself constantly worrying, overthinking, anticipating the worst, or feeling overwhelmed by things that once felt manageable. Anxiety can also show up physically through restlessness, tension, difficulty sleeping, or feeling like you just can't relax.
Therapy can give you a comfortable, supportive place to talk about what you're experiencing without judgment. Together, we can work on understanding your anxiety, identifying patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and finding healthier ways to manage worry and stress. My hope is to help you feel more confident, more in control, and better able to handle life's challenges.

History of Trauma
Trauma can affect the way you see yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. You may feel on edge, have difficulty trusting others, struggle with painful memories, or find yourself reacting strongly to situations that remind you of the past. Sometimes, the effects of trauma can be difficult to understand, especially when you know you want to move forward but don't feel sure how.
Therapy can provide a safe, supportive place to talk about your experiences at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Together, we can work on understanding how your past experiences may be affecting you today, developing healthier ways to cope, and building a greater sense of safety and confidence. My goal is not to rush you or make you relive painful experiences, but to help you feel more in control of your life and better able to move forward.

Low Self Esteem
Low self-esteem can affect the way you see yourself and the choices you make in everyday life. You may be overly critical of yourself, doubt your abilities, compare yourself to others, or feel like you're simply not good enough. You might find it difficult to accept compliments, set boundaries, speak up for yourself, or recognize your own strengths.
Therapy can provide a supportive place to explore where these feelings come from and begin to develop a kinder, more realistic view of yourself. Together, we can work on challenging negative self-talk, letting go of unrealistic expectations, and recognizing the strengths and qualities you may have overlooked. I want to help you build greater self-confidence, trust yourself, and feel more comfortable being who you are.

History of Substance Abuse
Substance use can sometimes become a way of coping with difficult emotions, stress, or feelings of not being good enough. Over time, it can contribute to feelings of guilt, shame, and low self-esteem, creating a cycle that can be difficult to break. You may find yourself being hard on yourself or feeling discouraged about your ability to make changes. This can be true even after a person has stopped using substances.
Therapy can provide a supportive, judgment-free place to better understand this cycle and begin to make changes. Together, we can explore the thoughts, feelings, and experiences connected to your substance use while also working on building self-esteem and developing healthier ways to cope. My goal is to help you have greater compassion for yourself, recognize your strengths, and feel more confident in your ability to move forward.
